OpenIDEA

OpenIDEA is an integrated SoC development environment based on open source hardware and software. OpenIDEA along with iNSPIRE and iNCITE offers all design and verification tools for OpenRISC-based embedded SoC, including software development, hardware generation, ISS(Instruction-Set-Simulator)-based software simulation, S/W-H/W co-simulation and FPGA-based prototyping board.

OpenIDEA is of great benefit to software developers in editing, compiling and debugging their S/W with intuitive GUI and source-level debugger connected to different types of remote-target system such as ISS, HDL simulator and FPGA prototype board.

iNSPIRE-OpenIDEA automatically generates AMBA or WISHBONE-based SoC system in a minute from various open source IP libraries, including BILA (Build-In Logic Analyzer) which probes H/W running on FPGA.

iNCITE is an FPGA board with various memories and peripherals attached. It provides a unique feature of HW and SW co-running in FPGA and PC connected with high-speed USB.

OpenIDEA provides all design and verification tools for OpenRISC-based Embedded SoC.
