iPROVE AMBA Design KitiPROVE AMBA design kit provides an ideal FPGA-based virtual prototype environment for rapid creation of AMBA-based IP and Soc design and verification. This toolkit is designed to provide both hardware and software designers with easy-to-use development environment, in which designers just specify AMBA bus configuration and pick design blocks and connect them to the AMBA bus to build a complete AMBA system. With the generated AMBA system, designers can run their application program on the host computer either in native code or cross-compiled code. As the picture shows, designers specify their AMBA bus configuration and AMBA bus system is generated automatically. Then, designers can connect their DUT blocks to the ABMA bus system. The DUT-attached AMBA bus system is prepared for mapping data for iPROVE hardware through synthesizer, P&R, and original iPROVE software. In order to run user’s application program on top of the DUT-attached AMBA bus system, designers simply develop their program using iPROVE API or iPROVE AMBA package provided ISS interface. There are a number of valuable features, which include AMBA bus transaction monitoring with conditional trigging capability, co-simulation between C/C++ program and HDL simulator, ready-verified AMBA IP supporting, ARM ISS supporting, and so on.
